The Work of James Jean

This morning I am checking out the work of James Jean which I discovered through the blog, accidental mysteries. Each piece is a feast.

His work is amazingly varied and I enjoyed looking at his themes and progression as an artist through the years. Some years were amazingly productive, others not. The creativity and realization of that has always fascinated me about artists. What in their lives causes them to have bursts of creativity and inspiration?

  3. I've had the pleasure of meeting James Jean and attending a few of his shows here in LA. Honestly, I'm more familiar with his comic book covers but he's an amazing artist by his own right.

  5. Not only has this happened while I’ve been on the radio and TV, but
people I’ve spoken to on the phone have experienced this as well,
    without me actually “doing” anything.
One of the biggest temptations for a new Spanish student is the desire
to jump straight into conversation. Once you have determined the drop, add three
to four inches as a margin.
